Files and Databases Added to Members Only
If you're a member of our society, please check out the Files and Databases tab. We have added an index for Slave Deeds found in Deed Books Vols 1 & 2. This is a work in progress and as our volunteers build the indexes from Vols 3 - 6 they will be added. If you are not a member of our society, you are invited to join.
The Heritage Room Hours
The Heritage Room located in the Old Historic Courthouse in downtown Monroe, NC is back to normal hours. Monday - Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
