The Cabarrus County Public Library, in partnership with the Kannapolis African American Museum and Cultural Center (KAA-MaCC), is pleased to host a free program series on African American genealogy. The series is presented by Black GenX, a group of genealogy professionals that teach methods and strategies that lead to success when researching African American family history.
Sessions are April 1, June 3, and August 5 at 11am, each covering a different topic. They will be presented in live virtual classrooms at the Concord and Kannapolis libraries. If someone is unable to attend in-person, they can also join from home via Zoom. Attached is a flyer. The series is free but registration is required.
