Used Book Sale Is Back: Updated 8-15-2022

The Heritage Room is selling duplicate books that we have received from various sources. Some of these books are in great shape, others show use and wear, they will be sold as is. If you are local please stop by the Heritage Room in downtown Monroe, NC. Our hours are 10 - 3, M - W, and 10 - 1 Th. We are located at 300 N. Main in the Old Historic Courthouse. We can also ship to you via media mail, you will need to check with the Heritage Room for the cost of shipping. Tax is shown on the list of books for sale. Call the Heritage Room, 704-289-6737 or send an email to ucheritage@unioncountync.gov for questions. Check back for updates, we will add more as time allows. Books with lines through them have been sold.

The Historic Courthouse renovaton of 
Phase One is complete.
The restoration included the clock tower
and replacing the slate roof.
Phase Two will begin likely in 2023.

The Heritage Room Hours

The Heritage Room located in the Old Historic Courthouse in downtown Monroe, NC is back to normal hours. Monday - Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
